CAMP RULES

Fire Wood Warning!

The Emerald Ash Bore will destroy Ash trees. As of 12/11/2006 the whole state of Michigan, Ohio and Illinois are in a "quarantined" status. As are 14 counties in Indiana. This means you can NOT transport firewood out of a quarantined area. When you are caught transferring firewood from a quarantined area, you can be severely fined. (as much as $500.00 per piece!)

  1. You must be 21 years of age to camp by yourself. Children are not allowed to stay overnight in the campground without adult supervision.
  2. Check-in time is 2 PM. Check-out time is 12 Noon. Late checkout arrangements must be made in advance. There is a late fee for this.
  3. Observe the posted speed limit of 5 mph
  4. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. Please be aware that all rules posted in the pool area are state laws and must be enforced. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them. No alcoholic
beverages or glass containers are allowed around the pool. Proper bathing suit attire required (please, no shorts / street clothes).
  5. Pets are important parts of families. Do not leave pets unattended or chained to a
tree. Leashes of 6' or shorter are required. No pets in store or pool. Clean up after
your pet. If your pet becomes a nuisance you will be asked to remove them. Proof of proper vaccines is required.
  6. No motorized bikes, scooters or 4 wheelers. No bikes after dark. Please wear protective gear. Valid driver's license is required to drive a golf cart. Proof of insurance for golf carts is required.
  7. In accordance with state law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in store, pavilion and pool areas. Keep alcoholic beverages confined to your campsite. No glass containers off your site.
  8. Help us protect the beauty of the trees, trails and wildlife. Do not destroy or damage the property. This includes recreational equipment. You will be asked to pay for damage and you will be held responsible for damage caused by your children. No cutting or carving of trees.
  9. Everyone must register at the office when entering the campground. We know that many of our camping guests may have guests of their own who want to visit them at our park. Visitors must register at the office and pay a $2.00 visitors fee. There are times when visitors may be just popping in to say hi or just picking you up. We will refund the guest fee if visitors are in the park less than one hour. After that, it is presumed they are here using the facilities and no refund will be given. You may prepay for your guests, however we ask they still check in at the office upon arrival. All guests must leave the park by 11 PM. Overnight guest fee is $5.00 per person. There is an additional fee of $1.00 per person for your guests to use the pool.
  10. Campfires are permitted in designated areas only. Please use the fire rings where provided. Never leave your campfire unattended. Remember fire rings stay hot long after the fire goes out. Watch your children closely. Do not move fire rings without checking with a park employee.
  11. The use of fireworks or firearms is not permitted on campground property.
  12. We ask that you use the dumpster located next to the dump station to dispose of your trash bags. Help us keep our park clean by disposing of loose trash (beverage cans, candy wrappers, etc) in the garbage cans located throughout the park and not in our woods and grounds.
  13. Do not wash vehicles in the park.
  14. Quiet hours are 11 PM to 8 AM. These are strictly enforced. Respect your fellow campers. Keep radios turned down and noise to a minimum. No golf carts after 11 PM.
  15. All buildings are smoke free. Please do not throw butts on the ground. This includes shower/restroom facilities.
  16. We reserve the right to evict anyone violating the rules of good camping, destroying or defacing property or creating a disturbance - WITHOUT REFUNDS!
